As a student enrolled in the College of Applied Health Sciences (AHS), there are wide variety of opportunities and services available to you. The staff members in the AHS Student Affairs Office are committed to assisting students identify appropriate resources within the college and across campus. The main Student Affairs Office is located in the Applied Health Sciences building at 1919 W. Taylor on the 5th floor.
The mission of AHS Student Affairs is to provide students with the support, direction, and resources needed to successfully progress through their academic degree programs and develop as professionals. Various events and activities are hosted by the AHS Student Affairs staff throughout the year to provide opportunities for students to interact with fellow students, faculty, and staff across the college. As a student enrolled in AHS, you will also be a part of the AHS Student listserv and receive regular communications about upcoming events, deadlines, and other important information.
AHS offers several specialized programs to assist our students in achieving their academic, personal, and professional goals including the Urban Health Program, Academic Support and Advising Program, and the Urban Allied Health Academy.
