Information Sessions

Are you interested in transferring to Disability and Human Development (DHD)? Join our information session to learn what to expect from a degree in DHD, career pathways, and the transfer process. Individual academic plans cannot be reviewed during the information session.

Check your requirements

  • At least one completed semester of coursework at UIC
  • Minimum UIC GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale), including transfer credit from other institutions
  • Good academic standing

Deadline

Applications are due August 16 for Fall and January 1 for Spring. Any applications submitted after these dates will be considered for the following term.

Submit your application online via our application form.

After you apply

Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. Students are notified of either decision—accepted or denied—via email within three weeks of submitting an application.
