April 20 - 21, 2018

Organized by
The UIC Disability and Human Development Student Association (DHDSA) and the University of Chicago Organization of Students with Disabilities (OSD)

About the Conference
The conference foregrounds Disability Studies as an important, interdisciplinary field of academic inquiry. Presenters ask fundamental questions about what counts as disability within disability studies and how it is (or not) accounted for in other disciplines as well as exploring how activists and community members interact with disability in their work. The conference will be held on April 20-21, 2018, at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) on April 20, and at the University of Chicago (UofC) on April 21.
