Join the Office of Sustainability as SIP Students display their posters on the latest sustainability happenings at UIC.

SIP offers hands-on learning experiences for undergraduates that advance the overall mission of greater social, economic and environmental sustainability in the campus community. This unique program provides an intellectual framework for students to apply classroom learning to project-based engagement. Since summer 2014 they have connected 75 students to sustainability projects all over our campus.

This spring, UIC students in the Sustainability Internship Program (SIP) have been key in driving campus sustainability initiatives such as UIC “bee-coming” a Bee Campus USA, the UIC Good Food Festival and Conference, and in battling campus food (in)security (among many others!).
