AHS Interdisciplinary Pilot Grant Program award increased to $30,000 per project

Again this spring AHS is soliciting applications its Interdisciplinary Pilot Grant Program to promote development of new interdisciplinary research projects that have the potential to impact health or quality of life and to attract significant extramural funding.  At the suggestion of the review committee, the amount of the grants has been increased to $30,000 per project.

Proposals that bring innovative new ideas are welcomed from basic, clinical, translational, and community-based researchers.  All full time AHS faculty are eligible to apply.  The application must identify a new collaborator outside of the home department who brings a different discipline, expertise, or methodology to the project.  Applications are due on April 7, 2021 and funds will be available by June 1, 2021.
