Giamila Fantuzzi is among the Top Italian Woman Scientists 2020, a ranking created  by Fondazione Onda, the Italian National Women’s Health Observatory for Women and Gender Health.

The Top Italian Women Scientists 2020 is a recognition for Italian women who are biomedical scientists and have an H-index above 50. Fantuazzi became a member of this prestigious group in 2016 and has maintained that standing ever since.
