UIC Nutrition Teaching Garden wins first place in the September voting for the CEGA 60-Second Garden Video Challenge

The UIC Nutrition Teaching Garden, managed by Renea Lyles, won first place in the September voting for the Chicago Excellence in Gardening Awards (CEGA) 60-Second Garden Video Challenge. The honors were announced on The Mike Nowak Show on October 4.

The monthly challenge is in lieu of the Chicago Excellence in Gardening Awards annual competition which was canceled this year due to the pandemic. Participants have until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, October 9 to get friends to view and vote for your entry. At the end of that time, CEGA will announce the winners for the entire contest.
