Joanna Abraham CO-I for winning grant proposal

BHIS assistant professor Joanna Abraham is the CO-I of a winning grant proposal titled, “Transition in Care from Paramedics to Emergency Department Nurses: A Systematic Review.”

Funded by the Emergency Strategic Clinical Network – Alberta Health Services, the goal of the proposal is to conduct a comprehensive systematic review of studies that examine handovers between EMS practitioners and ED nurses.

The $15,000 grant will fund students who will help with the systemic review. Gudrum Reay from the University of Calgary is the PI.
