Publication accepted: New paper on training sustainment by Ashley Hughes

BHIS assistant professor Ashley Hughes is the leading author of a meta-analysis conducted to understand the role of three work environmental factors (i.e., peer, supervisor, and organizational support) in the long-term use of acquired knowledge, skills, and attitudes (KSAs). This publication, which is forthcoming in the Journal of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, is the result of cross disciplinary work with researchers at the University of Illinois at Chicago; University of Texas; Houston, and Rice University; Houston.

The framework is expected to have widespread impact, shedding new insights on transfer and sustainment of training.
