Vanessa Oddo leads novel study documenting long-term and widespread decreases in employment quality in the US.

Vanessa Oddo is the lead author of a study published in the Scandinavian Journal of Work, Environment & Health titled “Changes in precarious employment in the United States: A longitudinal analysis.” Read the UIC news release: today.uic.edu/study-reveals-precarious-employment-on-the-rise-long-before-covid-19.

Importantly, they found that precarious employment disproportionally impacts women and those from racialized and less-educated populations.
