OT professor and department head Yolanda Suarez-Balcazar is a co-author of a policy statement distributed by the Society for Community Research and Action on the effects of deportation and forced separation of families and children. The Statement on the Effects of Deportation and Forced Separation on Immigrants, their Families, and Communities was published in the American Journal of Community Psychology.
