Brad Myers, PT, DPT, OCS, CMPT is Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Myers Received his Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Health Fitness in Preventive and Rehabilitative Programs from Central Michigan University in 2006. He then pursued a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University, completing his work in 2009. After leaving Duke Dr. Myers has been actively practicing within the Greater Chicago Area specializing in Outpatient Orthopaedics, and Sports Medicine. Dr. Myers is recognized as a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist, and currently nearing completion of a Doctorate of Science Degree in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy. At UIC Dr. Myers continues to see patients at the Physical Therapy Faculty Practice, along with teaching within the Post-professional Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program and the Entry-level DPT Program. His research interests include the appropriate application of manual techniques with exercise interventions within orthopaedic dysfunctions, and the identification of motor control dysfunctions as a precursor/ result of musculoskeletal impairments.
