Dr. Clive Pai began his academic career at Programs in Physical Therapy, Northwestern University as an Associate (1987-1990), then an Assistant Professor (1990-1996), and a Research Associate Professor (1997-2000). Dr. Pai became a tenured Associate Professor and the Director of the Clinical Gait and Movement Analysis Laboratory in the Department of Physical Therapy at UIC in 2000. He was promoted to a full professor in 2004. He teaches biomechanics related courses and conducts research in the areas of biomechanics, adaptation, and motor memory and generalization.
