Alumni Exchange-Driving Our Future: The Impact of Electric Vehicles

Transportation consumes the majority of our petroleum-based fuel and emits nearly one-third of harmful emissions in the U.S. Freight transportation is a major contributor to this, and electric vehicles are emerging as a probable solution. The College of Engineering’s Jane Lin will share the state of electrification in passenger and freight vehicles, incentive programs, environmental impacts, and the challenges we face in getting there.
