Bianca C. Frazer, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois Chicago. She researches performance aesthetics and representations of non-apparently disabled people, specifically those with any form of diabetes. Her writing appears and is forthcoming in (Un)Doing Diabetes: Representation, Disability, Culture, The Routledge Handbook of Health and Media, Metanarratives of Disability: Culture, Assumed Authority, and the Normative Social Order, ArtsPraxis, and Theatre Journal.
