About
Darci Woodson is a visiting clinical instructor for the Assistive Technology Certificate Program (ATCP) and a speech-language pathologist. She began her career at UIC participating in the LEND program and working as an Assistive Technology Specialist at UIC's Assistive Technology Unit. Having a special interest in AAC, she has also worked within the Early Intervention system, at North Suburban Special Education District as an AAC coach/SLP for Pre-K to Transition, and currently at New Trier High School. Darci has presented at Closing the Gap and has written for their Solutions magazine on integrating the practices of ABA with AAC.
