Deadline
To receive full consideration for fall semester admission, applications are due May 15.
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Application requirements
Applicants are considered on an individual basis by the DHD/UIC Law Academic Affairs Subcommittee. In addition to the Graduate College requirements for non-degree students and requirements for External Education enrollment, applicants must meet the following program requirements:
- Bachelor’s level degree from an accredited undergraduate program (No restrictions for baccalaureate field)
- Minimum GPA of 2.75 (on 4.0 scale) for the last 60 semester (90 quarter) hours of undergraduate study
- Official transcripts
- Resume
- Personal statement
Additional admissions requirments for international students:
- iBT total score of at least 80, with minimum sub-scores of:
- Writing 21
- Speaking 20
- Listening 17
- Reading 19
