The Institute on Disability and Human Development (IDHD) at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Illinois’ University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) is excited to launch a new webinar series. The IDHD Webinar series will share the latest in cutting edge research, practice, and policy from experts on a range of topics related to disability.  Here are details about the first webinar in the series:

UCEDD (You said) What?!: Discover the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities

Join us to learn about the UCEDD for the state of Illinois.  IDHD at UIC is Illinois’ UCEDD and is a national leader in four areas: 1) Interdisciplinary academic training 2) Community service 3) Research and 4) Information dissemination

Information about the national UCEDD network will be shared as well as our partners in Illinois. This webinar will share the scope of work being done at IDHD along with specific examples and resources that can be used by people with disabilities and their families, service providers and professionals working in the field, businesses and non-profits as well as policymakers.
