Webinar – Bridging the Gap: CPR Training for Project SEARCH Interns

Tuesday, April 23, 2019

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Project SEARCH interns at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and other sites are required to complete a Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course as part of their learning experience. Current CPR courses are not created for learners with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. This presentation will provide an overview of health literacy findings and educational tools, along with a discussion on the current Cincinnati Children’s CPR class model that bridges the gap in CPR education for the learner with intellectual disabilities.
