Why did you choose DHD at UIC?
I was drawn to the DHD program at UIC because of its interdisciplinarity. As a student in the program I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with a wonderful group of colleagues and faculty, each of whom bring unique perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds to their scholarship and
activism.

What do you want to do with a DHD degree?
I hope that with a DHD degree I can contribute meaningfully to disability studies scholarship.
