Susun Xiong

I am originally from Minnesota but have happily considered Chicago home for 9 years now. I live on the South Side with my spouse and 3 dogs (the Flat-Faced Trio). My leisure activities include hoarding house plants, mastering Hmong embroidery, photographing insects, and collecting vintage Hmong items.

Interdisciplinary program and the opportunity to learn from Disability Studies Scholars.

What do you want to do with a DHD degree?
Community based research and contribute to the equitable inclusion of PWD in various settings.

Research Interests
Person centered planning, aging with IDD, disability specific microaggressions, and intersectionality.
