SUMMARY:Alumni Exchange: Constitutional Challenges During Trump's Second Term
DESCRIPTION:The second Trump administration has brought about bold and dramatic presidential actions designed to fundamentally reform the way our government works. At the same time, scores of lawsuits are challenging those actions, and their outcomes could shift the balance of power in our constitutional system. All of this puts us in the middle of a constitutional moment like few others in our nation's history. Join the UIC Alumni Association for this timely Alumni Exchange program featuring UIC Law professor Steven Schwinn. Professor Schwinn will explore topics and trends of today's government, from immigration enforcement to birthright citizenship to presidential control over federal agencies, and how these policies impact us and our constitutional system. Zoom webinar details provided in confirmation email. | Event post: https://ahs.uic.edu/events?page_id=14844
