DESCRIPTION:This panel discussion examines the connections between gun violence, disability, trauma, and community resilience. Presented in conjunction with the restaging of Lani T. Montreal?s Panther in the Sky, the session brings together scholars, advocates, and community members to explore how violence shapes the lives of disabled survivors, families, and neighborhoods.    The two?hour conversation offers space for reflection, critical insight, and dialogue on the emotional and structural impacts of gun violence, with particular attention to communities whose experiences are often overlooked.    \n    CONTENT WARNING: This event includes discussions of gun violence, loss, grief and trauma, and their impact on disabled survivors, their families and the community.
