Chezare Warren PhD ’12 and Lionel Allen EDD ’16, MED ’03, are former Chicago Public School employees who have spent their entire professional careers in public education, including training future teachers and educational leaders. They join us to share their reflections on the state of contemporary public schooling across the country and to discuss the challenges they’ve encountered to achieving a socially just and humane education for all students, and Black children in particular. They will answer your questions and forecast possibility for achieving sustainable education change.
