Annual UIC Health Tech Jam

The annual UIC Health Tech Jam is a multi-day free event for students from different health professional programs to collaborate and compete! Teams will design and pitch meaningful ideas for health technology grounded in community feedback with help from industry experts, faculty, and innovative educational workshops.
Collaborate with new disciplines in teams: Team up with UIC students in Rehabilitation Science, Physical Therapy, Biomedical Visualization, and more.
Attend unique, ground-breaking workshops: Learn from experts in up to six new workshops in app development, virtual reality, clinical technology, racial healthcare implications, and more.
Develop marketable new skills: Work with experts to build novel ideas and professional app pitches based on community-driven data.
Compete to win the 2022 Innovation Award: Create the best possible technology pitch and win the coveted 2022 Innovation Award selected by industry experts and faculty.
All participants will earn a Certificate of Achievement in Healthspan Technology upon completion of the event.
The following event days are February 12th, 10 am – 4 pm, February 13th, 11 am- 4 pm.
