Artwork submissions for chancellor holiday card

Office of the Vice Chancellor for Advancement is accepting artwork submissions for Chancellor’s holiday cards. Note that the creator of the winning design will receive $500 in scholarship money.  The card goes to ~950 recipients.  Below are the criteria for student submissions:

• Artwork should fit standard card dimensions of 5×7 (with an A7 envelope) 4 1/2 x 6 1/8 (A6 envelope) 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 (A2 envelope) can be used.
• We encourage themes based on Chicago and/or skyline, winter, IGNITE Campaign.  No photography, religious themes/icons.
• Students must provide first name, last name, email, contact number, and college/ unit with submission.
• The artist of the selected design will receive scholarship money in the amount of $500.00 and be credited in the card.
• The selected design will require the student to submit digital design files so we can edit the layers when printing the cards.
• Final designs should be sent in by Friday, September 21, 2018 via email to Malathi Tamilarasu at mtamil1@uic.edu.
