SUMMARY:Spring 2025 AHS Commencement
DESCRIPTION:CONGRATULATIONS AHS GRADUATES!      The College of Applied Health Sciences' Spring 2025 commencement has been scheduled fro May 9, 2025.  See details below.    Date: Friday, May 9, 2025    Doors open: 6:00pm    Ceremony begins: 7:00pm    Ceremony ends: 9:00pm (approximately)    GRADUATE INFORMATION:    Registration is required to attend the commencement ceremony.  The link to register for the ceremony will be mailed to students who apply to graduate for the spring 2025 semester in early March.  Graduates will register for the ceremony through the personalized Marching Order link sent to their UIC email. Additional updates will be available for the spring ceremony in late February.    TICKETS:  All guests over the age of 1 year are required to have a ticket for entry to the ceremony.  At the time of registration, you can request guest tickets.  Additional updates will be available for the spring ceremony in late February.    Virtual Ceremony: In addition to the in person ceremonies, each college will have a virtual ceremony which will contain a link to the live webcast and the graduate slides.  For the slides on the virtual website, you are invited to customize your slide with a photo and personal message. The slides can be downloaded to share with family and friends or post to social media.    Graduation Slide:  The customized slides of graduates who have registered for the in-person ceremony will also be displayed at the venue prior to the ceremony.  They will not be used during the ceremony.    Caps and gowns will be on sale at the UIC Bookstore.  Graduates can purchase regalia in the store or online.    Grad Fest: Join the UIC Alumni Association and UIC Bookstore for Kickoff to Commencement as we celebrate the start of graduation season.  Additional details with date and time of the event will be sent early in late February.    General commencement information, venue details, livestreams, photography, etc. can be found at the UIC commencement site.  The ceremony will last approximately two hours.  Graduates are expected to stay for the duration of the ceremony.  Additional details about diplomas, applying to graduate (intent to graduate), FAQs, etc. can be found on the Records Office site.
