DESCRIPTION:UIC Rise is a free, full-day career readiness conference designed to help you and your peers connect what you?re learning in class and beyond to your next steps after college. The conference focuses on helping you reflect on your coursework, campus involvement, work experiences, and personal goals?and translate them into clear, practical career plans.  This event is open to all UIC students and is especially helpful if you are:       	Still exploring or clarifying your career goals   	Preparing for internships, jobs, or graduate/professional school   	Looking to better articulate your skills and experiences    Conference highlights include:     	Professional Hot Seat: Employers and alumni share honest insights, lessons learned, and real-world career advice.   	Breakout sessions focused on:     	Deciding whether graduate school is right for you   	Managing the job search and reducing stress   	Communicating your skills and experiences to employers   	Building meaningful experience beyond the classroom       	Next Steps Mixer: Lunch & Learn with Professionals ? low-pressure networking and conversation   	Resource Fair featuring campus departments and student support services    Whether you?re just starting to think about life after UIC or actively preparing for your next move, UIC Rise is a great way to invest in yourself and your future.
