DESCRIPTION:Join the UIC Student Association of Medical Artists for the opening reception of their annual art show at the International Museum of Surgical Sciences.    The event is free to attend, but registration is required.    The SAMA annual art show is open to the public and runs April 7 ? May 3, 2026.        About the exhibition        Biomedical Visualization is where art, life science, and medicine meet technology for visual communication. This exhibition highlights the next generation of artists from the Program in Biomedical Visualization at the University of Illinois Chicago.    Their work spans illustrations, animations, interactive programs, and virtual/augmented reality.
