Ashley Hughes receives 2022 Robert L. Wears Early Career Award from the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society

Ashley Hughes is the recipient of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society’s Health Care Technical Group 2022 Robert L. Wears Early Career Award. The award is named after a scientist-practitioner and innovator in the areas of Human Factors in Healthcare and Health Informatics. Receipt of the award recognizes the contributions of an early career professional no more than six years post conferral of their terminal degree for their excellence in advancing and impacting human factors in health care.

One academic awardee is selected each year for excellence and impact of their research. Dr. Hughes was recently selected as an academic awardee following a rigorous review process for the awardee and will be officially recognized at the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society International Annual Meeting (Oct 10-14, 2022).
