Co-Operative Career Experience Certificate program team receives Student Success Innovation Fund award

Congratulations to the Co-Operative Career Experience Certificate team on receiving a UIC Student Success Innovation Fund award  for “Disability Services and Supports: Video and Multimedia Access.” Project leads: Tamar Heller and Kate Caldwell along with Kaitlin Stober and Jordyn Jensen.

In collaboration with the UIC Disability Cultural Center and the UIC Disability Resource Center this project will be a student-led initiative to increase student knowledge and confidence in accessing services, supports and spaces at UIC. The intention is to help students succeed academically and in general college life, and in turn support the retention and graduation of UIC students with disabilities and higher academic support needs. It will produce a series of short-form videos featuring existing UIC students on relevant services, supports and spaces.
