Manako Yabe and Natalie Yoshioka win a 2017 Chancellor’s Graduate Research Award

DS doctoral student Manako Yabe and BVIS student Natalie Yoshioka are recipients of a 2017 Chancellor’s Graduate Research Award.

Yabe received the award for her research project titled, “Healthcare Providers’ and Deaf Patients’ Perspectives Toward Video Remote Interpreting: A Mixed Methods Study.” Yoshioka received the award for “Temporal Visualization of Body Cavity Partitioning: An Interactive Timeline.”
