Michelle Adams presents at UI Health Diabetes Care in Schools

On Friday, November 4, Michelle Adams presented to over 200 school nurses and volunteers from Chicago Public Schools on “Exercise and Diabetes for Youth” at the UI Health Diabetes Care in Schools: An Education Program for School Nurses and Delegated Care Aides.  The American Diabetes Association and UI Health co-sponsored the conference which focused on strategies for nutrition, exercise, mental health and general diabetes management for children diagnosed with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
