Timothy Koh is co-PI of a one-year, $62,000 pilot grant from the NIH National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases to develop a computational model to investigate the heterogeneity of macrophages and the roles they play in wound healing. Koh has created single-cell RNAseq datasets on macrophages from skin wounds of diabetic and normal mice (See doi: 10.1016/j.cyto.2021.155516 and doi: 10.4049/jimmunol.2000935).
