UIC Libraries reopening but reservations required

The Library of the Health Sciences-Chicago and the Daley Library have reopened as of August 24th.  However, a reservation is now required for access to the libraries and also the procedures, resources, hours, and services will be quite different than prior to the pandemic.

If you are considering visiting one of the libraries, please read through this detailed discussion first to ensure that your hopes and expectations for your visit are in line with what will be available: https://library.uic.edu/about/news/article/10126/daley-and-lhs-chicago-libraries-reopen-aug-24-with-new-safety-measures-procedures-and-services

The reservation system is now available via go.library.uic.edu/seats
Library maps are also included on that page to help you determine where you would like to choose to study.

Watching the informational video on the reservation system is also highly recommended: https://researchguides.uic.edu/Reopening/BookingSeats

While the libraries are now open, contact-free or low-contact pick-up from our collections will continue to be available for circulating physical items from our collections.

If you have questions, please feel free to submit them through the “Chat with a Librarian” option on the library webpage or send them to the CAHS librarian liaison, Amelia Brunskill (abrunsk2@uic.edu).
