{"id":33284,"date":"2026-10-25T23:15:04","date_gmt":"2026-10-26T04:15:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/inside-ahs\/?post_type=event&#038;p=33284"},"modified":"2026-11-02T10:30:40","modified_gmt":"2026-11-02T16:30:40","slug":"ahs-commencement-rsvp-registration-deadline-2","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/inside-ahs\/events\/ahs-commencement-rsvp-registration-deadline-2\/","title":{"rendered":"AHS Commencement RSVP\/registration deadline"},"template":"","event_categories":[83,53],"class_list":["post-33284","event","type-event","status-publish","hentry","event_categories-ahs-grad-event","event_categories-ahs-ug-event"],"acf":{"event_series":"","all_day":false,"start_date":"2026-11-07","end_date":"2026-11-07","location_building":"","location_address_1":"","location_address_2":"","location_city":"","location_state":"Select","location_zip":"","show_map":false,"show_virtual_meeting_link":false,"cost":"","description":"<p>The campus has partnered with\u00a0<strong>TASSEL<\/strong> to help\u00a0 our graduates\u2019 experience.\u00a0 The TASSEL system will create a display to show your\u00a0 name, degree, and major on screen as you cross the stage.\u00a0 TASSEL will also have professional name readers record graduates&#8217; names to be played while they are on stage.\u00a0 All graduates who wish to participate in the Fall 2026 in-person AHS Commencement ceremony on December 12, 2026, must <strong>REGISTER to attend the ceremony.\u00a0 The deadline to RSVP is November 7.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Graduates should have received an email about TASSEL with their <strong>personalized registration link<\/strong> in early October if they applied for graduation for the semester <em>(October 13 approximately).\u00a0 <\/em>Graduates will need to create a password and set up your TASSEL account.\u00a0 If they did not receive a notification by October 15, please email the AHS Student Affairs Office at ahsinfo@uic.edu.\u00a0 Once a TASSEL invitation is received, graduates can then:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Register\/RSVP<\/strong>\u00a0for the ceremony.<\/li>\n<li>Create <strong>personalized slide<\/strong>\u00a0for the virtual ceremony<\/li>\n<li>Obtain\u00a0 <strong>STAGE PASS<\/strong>\u00a0that will be used for check-in and announcing your name at the ceremony.<\/li>\n<li>Set up the<strong>\u00a0\u201cRecord your Name\u201d<\/strong> feature on the registration form to ensure that name is properly announced.<\/li>\n<li>Request<strong>\u00a0GUEST TICKETS\u00a0<\/strong>for the December ceremony.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>NOTE: TASSEL registration links cannot be shared between graduates as each link is customized to each graduate.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For those who are unable to attend the in-person ceremony, there will have a\u00a0<strong>virtual ceremony page<\/strong> that will broadcast the webcast of the in-person ceremony and have a slide for each graduate.\u00a0 You are encouraged to customize your slide with a photo and personal message by the TASSEL deadline in early November (November 7 deadline).
