The AHS Staff Council is soliciting nominations for the\u00a0 2017 AHS Merit Award.\u00a0 The AHS Merit Award was developed by the AHS Staff Council to recognize and honor excellence in service to our college by academic professional and support staff employees.\u00a0 The winner receives a cash award in the amount of $500.\u00a0 The winner may also be nominated for the campus-wide UIC Award of Merit program, which comes with a $2,500 cash award. The UIC Award of Merit was established to provide a mechanism for the campus leadership to recognize and honor its outstanding civil service and academic professional employees.<\/p>\n
