Dan Dissertation Research Award from The UIC Center for Research on Women and Gender for her research titled, \u201cInstitutionalized Women with Dementia: Constructions of Disability,\u00a0Age, Care, and Confinement\u201d. The award was given to two doctoral students this year.<\/p>\n<p>The annual Dan Dissertation Research Award encourages original and significant research about gender and\/or women by UIC doctoral students.
