\n<\/strong>More than 900 students from 13 different UIC health professions education programs attend IPE Immersion Program.\u00a0 It provides students with the chance to work in inter-professional teams to gain understanding of the roles and responsibilities of different members of the health care team as well as to work together to gain understanding of what inter-professional collaborative practice means using a patient case that involves opioid substance abuse and chronic low back pain.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Facilitators will work with a group of 10 students on a variety of group activities.\u00a0 Facilitator training will be available prior to the event on either\u00a0March 22\u00a0in the morning or\u00a0April 2\u00a0in the afternoon. You are asked to attend one of those sessions<\/p>\n
