KN research assistant professor <strong>Norifumi Urao<\/strong> and colleagues <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jimmunol.org\/content\/early\/2018\/09\/07\/jimmunol.1800252\">revealed regulated oxidant signals in bone marrow play a key role in regenerative blood cell production in cardiovascular diseases<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The basic biomedical research lab in KN studied how blood cells are generated in a mouse model of peripheral artery disease, collaborating with the UIC College of Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>The work is co-authored with KN professor, <strong>Timothy J.
