Grossman<\/strong> and doctoral student <strong>Courtney Mullin<\/strong> presented a paper at a session on institutional ethnography and labor at the annual meeting of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sssp1.org\/index.cfm\">Society for the Study of Social Problems (SSSP)<\/a> in Philadelphia, PA. \u00a0After the conference, the paper entitled,\u00a0 &#8220;<strong>Working to Move:\u00a0The Hidden Work of Medicaid Personal Care Assistance (PCA) Services Users Planning and Pursuing Cross-state Moves<\/strong>,&#8221; was selected as one of seven presentations to be a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sssp1.org\/index.cfm\/m\/569\/locationSectionId\/0\/Featured_Abstracts\">featured abstract<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The analysis for this paper was based on interviews with Medicaid PCA users planning and pursuing cross-state moves gathered through funds from the UIC Office of Vice Chancellor for Research Campus Research Board Award.<\/p>\n","intro_text_excerpt":"The Society for the Study of Social Problems selected research paper by DHD professor and student as one of seven featured abstracts from its 2018 annual meeting","content_author":"Brian R.
