COVID-19 and research participants from Dean Bo Fernhall"},"template":"","news_categories":[27],"news_tags":[],"class_list":["post-20652","news","type-news","status-publish","hentry","news_categories-covid-19"],"acf":{"intro_text_subtitle":"","intro_text_body":"<p>In an effort to screen research participants who may come to campus or be interacted with in a community setting for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), we have adopted a <a href=\"https:\/\/cms.ahs.uic.edu\/inside-ahs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2020\/03\/2020.03.13-research-participant-telephone-screening-script-FINAL-1.pdf\">telephone script<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/cms.ahs.uic.edu\/inside-ahs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2020\/03\/2020.03.13-Positive-Screening-for-COVID-19-Log.pdf\">record log<\/a> developed by UI Health. All potential and existing research participants should be screened prior to any in-person interaction using this script. Please repeat this screening process in-person when you interact with a research participant.<\/p>\n<p>It is important that we collect information from research participants who screen positive for COVID-19 exposure.
