Divya and Christie wrote and submitted competitive independent research proposals to be considered for the award.<\/p>\n<p>In the coming academic year, Divya and Christie will work with SAFE-T lab director and BHIS professor <a href=\"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/biomedical-health-information-sciences\/directory\/hughes-ashley-m\/\"><strong>Ashley Hughes<\/strong><\/a> to complete funded independent project(s) supported by the award.\u00a0 Names of their funded independent projects are below:<\/p>\n<p>Divya Krishnakumar: &#8220;The influence of power distance on psychological safety within healthcare teams&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Christie Kang: &#8220;Are all disadvantages created equal?
