The honors were announced on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=mqOmbwfGhlk&amp;t=9s\">The Mike Nowak Show on October 4<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The monthly challenge is in lieu of the Chicago Excellence in Gardening Awards annual competition which was canceled this year due to the pandemic. Participants have until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, October 9 to get friends to view and vote for your entry.
