The Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA) has now launched the Spring 2021 COVID-19 Emergency Grant process for those students and families who have had a change in their financial situation due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.<\/p>\n
This program is the same as in Fall 2020, however, financial aid has streamlined the application and filing process to encourage students to apply.<\/p>\n
There is limited funding for Spring 2021 and funds are available on a first come, first served basis. Students must be Title IV eligible.<\/p>\n
To apply, please students can visit the Program FAQs here: https:\/\/financialaid.uic.edu\/faq\/<\/a><\/p>\n Or, students can reach out directly to their Financial Aid Counselor: https:\/\/financialaid.uic.edu\/faq\/contact-us\/<\/a><\/p>\n OSFA will continue to be open in SSB Monday \u2013 Friday, 8:30am to 5pm throughout Spring term to assist students in person with this process.<\/p>\n For students who do not meet the qualifications for this program, there is still funding available from the U and I Care Emergency Grant program for students requiring emergency assistance.<\/p>\n
