The program was <a href=\"https:\/\/today.uic.edu\/phd-bioinformatics\">established in 2015<\/a>. Dr. Burton&#8217;s disseration is entitled, &#8220;Examining Clinicians\u2019 Perspectives on Computer-Based Adoption and Use of Patient-Reported Outcomes.&#8221; Members of her dissertation committee included <a href=\"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/biomedical-health-information-sciences\/directory\/boyd-andrew-dallas\/\">Andrew Boyd<\/a> (Chair), Joanna Abraham (Washington University), <a href=\"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/biomedical-health-information-sciences\/directory\/hughes-ashley-m\/\">Ashley Hughes<\/a>, Justin Starren (Northwestern University) and Annette Valenta.
