Common bioinformatics techniques and methods will be reviewed, with an emphasis on practical skills, quality control, and data interpretation in application to next-generation sequencing (NGS) data sets.<\/p>\n<p>Topics include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Introduction to R<\/li>\n<li>Introduction to Linux and High-Performance Computing<\/li>\n<li>Introduction to RNA-seq<\/li>\n<li>Introduction\u00a0to Next Generation\u00a0Sequencing\u00a0data<\/li>\n<li>Introduction to Metagenomics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When: July 28 to August 6 2021<br \/>\nWhere: Online<br \/>\nTime: 9 AM to 4:45 PM<br \/>\nCost: $125 per day\/$550 all days (UIC\/CBC pricing; external rates\u00a0 $200 per day\/$880 all days)<br \/>\nComputer Requirement: Computer with at least: 4GB RAM, 10GB free storage.
