Through the program, students are trained to provide care and services to children and families impacted by opioid and substance use disorders. The grant will pay for students\u2019 tuition, fees and book costs, and will provide a stipend up to $7,500 for the two-phase training course. <a href=\"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/disability-human-development\/directory\/heller-tamar\/\"><strong>Tamar Heller<\/strong> <\/a>(PI) and <a href=\"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/disability-human-development\/directory\/hsieh-kueifang-kelly\/\"><strong>Kueifang (Kelly) Hsieh<\/strong><\/a> (Co-PI) are conducting the evaluation of this program. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox32chicago.com\/video\/955550\">Fox 32 Chicago<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/abc7chicago.com\/opiod-death-opioid-overdose-program-deaths-2020\/10888086\/\">ABC 7 Chicago<\/a> aired segments on the program.
