{"id":21403,"date":"2022-09-29T11:52:26","date_gmt":"2022-09-29T11:52:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/inside-ahs\/news-stories\/promotional-tool-kit-for-october-health-career-related-programing\/"},"modified":"2022-09-29T11:52:26","modified_gmt":"2022-09-29T11:52:26","slug":"promotional-tool-kit-for-october-health-career-related-programing","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/inside-ahs\/news-stories\/promotional-tool-kit-for-october-health-career-related-programing\/","title":{"rendered":"Promotional tool kit for October health Career related programing"},"template":"","news_categories":[28,12,19],"news_tags":[],"class_list":["post-21403","news","type-news","status-publish","hentry","news_categories-asap","news_categories-faculty-and-staff-news","news_categories-lectures-and-presentations"],"acf":{"intro_text_subtitle":"","intro_text_body":"<p>October is filled with career related programming specifically for Applied Health Sciences students and other students interested in the health fields.<\/p>\n<p>The two program series are:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/inside-ahs\/events\/health-professions-forum-in-person\/\">The Health Professions Forum<\/a>: is now its fourth annual series with panelists that consist of AHS alumni and other representatives of alternative health professions from the traditional health career pathways.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>In Person: Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 3:30 PM &#8211; 5:00 PM<\/li>\n<li>Virtual: Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 3:00 PM &#8211; 4:15 PM<\/li>\n<li>TARGET AUDIENCE: Anyone but primarily exploring students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/inside-ahs\/events\/grow-your-gap-year-enrich-my-healthcare-experiences-panel-and-action-plan-in-person\/\">Grow your Gap Year: Enrich my healthcare experience panel and Action plan<\/a>. If students are focused on professional school (i.e. medical school) they can hear about students who took and benefited from a GAP year. They will hear from panelists with experience in applying and have been being admitted into their competitive health program and then students will work on your own plan.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Person: October 13, 2022 from 3:30 PM &#8211; 5:00 PM<\/li>\n<li>Note there is a separate &#8220;exploring service&#8221; opportunities\u00a0 on October 25, 2022 from 12:00 PM &#8211; 1:15 PM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>MY REQUEST: Please spread the word to our student body in your courses and individual student meetings with our easy marketing materials.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Access our <a href=\"https:\/\/uofi.box.com\/s\/s280pgb07v1juwseahylnxw82aegnkj5\">marketing folder<\/a> for short template messaging for you to copy paste, flyers and more.<\/strong> I try to make it as simple as possible and made specific notes to you. Please use, and freely share this package to other professionals who work with undergraduate students.<\/p>\n<p>Please let me know if you have any questions.
