The Midwest Roybal Center for Health Promotion and Translation is holding a grant competition for scientists studying health promotion for older adults.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Midwest Roybal Center will review and include 1-2 clinical trials in its 6th<\/sup>\u00a0consecutive funding cycle competition. Once funded by NIA, RCTs would begin work June 2024. Open to all doctorate-level research faculty.\u00a0\u00a0Proposed interventions must be principle-driven behavioral interventions that\u00a0target middle-aged and older adults (50+) living in the United States. Interventions must be behavioral (e.g., physical\u00a0activity) and seek to prevent or delay cognitive decline. Projects can be funded up to $200,000 total direct for 1-2 years.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Applicants must identify the NIH Stage Model of their intervention:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Applications are\u00a0due May 8, 2023.\u00a0Letters of intent are\u00a0due May 1, 2023.
